It was a welcome return to Croix for the first 2CV racing of the season. The weather held off as best it could, but a downpour on Friday evening meant qualifying conditions were far from ideal for Saturday.
Everyone had been busy with the paint over the winter break, and a good many new designs rolled off the trailers. It was hard to say which was the best turned out, but contenders had to be Roger Lott's gleaming silver design, Pete Sparrow's red, white and blue livery and Wayne Cowling's gold and navy car.
