By 9 a.m. the rain had stopped and the track started to dry out. At 9 a.m. Tete Rouge had taken the lead from Ramageddon now second, Rocket Dog third, Yellow Peril fourth and Mardi Gras fifth. At 10 a.m. Tete Rouge retained the lead, Rocket Dog was up to second, Ramageddon down to third, Yellow Peril fourth and Mardi Gras fifth. At 11 a.m. the first five places were unchanged Tete Rouge leading, Rocket Dog second, Ramageddon third, Yellow Peril fourth and Mardi Gras fifth.
Noon to Finish At noon the first five places remained unchanged Tete Rouge leading, Rocket Dog second, Ramageddon third, Yellow Peril fourth and Mardi Gras fifth. At 3 p.m. still no change Tete Rouge first, Rocket Dog second, Ramageddon third, Yellow Peril fourth and Mardi Gras fifth. Snippets Car 69 MRB Racing rolled overtaking Car 5 Hollis Motorsport. Car 3 Hooters chassis has the angle iron welded. At about 2.45 p.m. Pete Sparrow, who was storming along in Car 63 Tete Rouge, was a bit too keen and spun the car losing time and giving Rocket Dog the opportunity to catch up. Pete straightened up and continued his charge.
