23.6.2004 I was in car 22 rattling
through the esses when I saw various waved yellows. I looked
around the circuit and saw a white car on its side so took the
appropriate action (no, I slowed down!) and drove past. By
that time the driver was out and standing looking a bit non-plussed. As
far as I could see there wasn’t much damage and the driver
seemed in very good health. I still don’t understand
how it went over there but I am sure there is a tale to be told;
I’d love to hear it.

People seem to want to know how it happed...
Well via Guy who was driving ... we
had been fighting with the 21 car all race ,,, Guy had overtaken
him cleanly and was heading into bombhole when he was hit in the
rear wing (what happened to the 3/4 rule for overtaking) and pushed
through the bombhole ... because the 21 car did not back off our
car was tipped onto its side...
Guy was as you say basically unhurt
(just a stiff neck and shoulders) and although the accident didn't
help the handling of the car ... it was basically ok too ...
any other eye witness reports would be great!

HI Team
I don't know if my request has reached your club yet... I am desperately
seeking any armature snappers that might have caught our accident
at the 2CV 24 hour race at Snetterton a couple of weeks ago ... We
were racing car #90 and we were tipped over by car 21 at about 2:50pm
on Sunday ... we urgently need shots (and are willing to pay for
them) for a magazines and internet article I am writing ...
So if any of your members were there or might have shots please let
me know ... This is getting really urgent now!
Many Thanks
Claire Furnell
Oooh
I dunno I was too busy snapping armatures, which might explain
the bad charging on the way home.
I am concerned that a professional "Journalist" can
get an armature confused with an amateur, I mean call me Mr Picky
but they are completely different. This probably explains why car
90 flipped over, more than likely it hurtled towards the tyre wall
after stumbling over a huge grammatical error either that or one
of Dot's missing commas.
Anyway as you can tell I love it here at work. Great.
