Circuit
The race will be on the full circuit. Budget approval is awaited by Snetterton for the construction of a new bend in the back straight, which will add interest. Consideration is being given to lighting some parts, including the pits apron and the Esses. There will be engine-powered lighting towers in the paddock. Reflective markers will be provided on many bends and at the pit lane entry.
There are 13 pit garages with 26 doors, and there will be three cars housed in each garage. In the event of the full track licence number of 41 cars being entered, those will be housed in the most appropriate way. The paddock area behind the garages must be kept as clear as possible.
Trailers should be parked in the area at the bottom of the paddock after unloading.
Fuelling
The club has retained a specialist adviser, Medifire, to advise on fuelling safety. They will provide a small fire truck and will be patrolling the pits area throughout the race Their word will be law and they will have the full support of the Clerk of the Course. It has been agreed that fuelling from jerry cans is satisfactory, subject to the conditions below
There will be a high standard of fuelling discipline. On the Friday, it will be mandatory for two crew members of each team to attend a fire training session. The rear paddock apron will have marked transit lanes for those moving fuel cans to the 'Total' petrol station. These must be kept clear. Cans must be strapped to a sack barrow, to be supplied by each team. Extinguishers will be spaced along the marked lanes. The lane behind the pits must be kept totally clear and no smoking will be allowed on the front pit apron, in the garages or in the marked transit lanes.
Payment for fuel will be by pre-paid vouchers.
